Established in Glendale California in 2017, Regent Coffee is a family owned shop where quality, artisanal coffee made from the heart reigns supreme.

When the pandemic of 2020 struck and , Regent founder, Leon Nei , sought to create a flagship new bottled coffee beverage that could help sustain the business through the difficult period. Regent’s Bourbon Barrel Aged Cold Brew was born, and it required elevated packaging design that showcased the artisan crafted beverage as well as the brand’s values.

The result was development of the now Regent signature look, which is a combination of Victorian and Art Deco ornamental design. This style reflects the timeless high-quality and artistic flair that is Regent Coffee, and the design perfectly fit the style and shape of the unique bourbon bottle of the cold brew.

After completing the cold brew label, I was honored to be brought aboard to apply the developed visual direction of labels across Regent’s other goods, such as the coffee bean bags and cold brew pack boxes.

Regent mindfully sourced eco-friendly packaging for all of their products, which is always a joy to design for.
We included a special call-out of these earth-forward their brand values on the bottom of their coffee bean bag.

The coffee bag designs included a base branded design for all of the bags with a label sticker template that could easily be updated to notate the qualities of each unique roast batch, as Regent provides many rotating varieties of specialty washes, roasts, and single origin options.

The success of the single-serving bourbon cold brew bottles, both in-store and through online wholesale shoppers, required development of a multi-pack box for the original bottles, as well as labeling for a growler sized bottle that customers could purchase and refill in-store.

In 2022, Regent Coffee opened a secondary location in Los Angeles on York st. : The Brew and Bottle House.
This location is now the official headquarters of the Bourbon Barrel-Age Cold Brew production.  

The beautiful location’s interior was designed by Sierra Holland Design and features window decals of our illustrations of Regent’s unique bourbon brewing process.
